Genie - Second read done, preparing for third
The second read is done and given to the beta readers that might not have gone too far with the first read. Spelling errors caught, typos corrected, and also I spotted a few places where I'd said one thing, followed it up... then adjusted the writing and forgotten to adjust the follow up to reflect the change.
A few sections were re-written to sound more smooth, and the word count just nudged over 78,000. Now, the book is loaded on to the Kobo for read 3. By the time I've finished that, I hope to hear back from the beta readers and can make any final adjustments, before a fourth read and passing to an actual editor.
