Michelle Knight. Writer, photographer, programmer, truck driver and general, all round nut case. Life is a journey and that's what this blog will probably end up being. Let's see where we go, eh? ;-)
I have just been granted permission to quote a section of feedback I received recently from someone who has now read the whole series, who also lives the lifestyle and understands the fact behind the fiction...
Well I write this through the stinging eyes of someone who has been crying. What can I say, beautiful, moving and a very hard read.
I have just put the book down, finished. Brave story telling to plunge characters into the pain of real life, and to, no easy way to say this, kill some off.
I love the characters you created, their world and the wonderful way you told this story, it pained me to read of their passing, almost as much as if they were real people I knew, rather than simply marks on a page. I suspect there is much reality in this story, painful reality.
Well done, I say that sincerely, and as I said, this type of fiction is needed among the poor dross and bad examples [of] fiction out there.
It has been a very great privilege to have been allowed some small part in this journey, thank you for sharing.
