Review - Cable & Deadpool Split Second #2 - 5 out of 5 stars

Deadpool & Cable - Fabian Nicieza, Reilly Brown

Once again, like the previous issue, it was 38 internal pages which held 6 adverts, 2 of which were non-Marvel and those were kept to the inside covers, out of the way of the main content. The adds didn't get in the way too much, except for the ones that were really odd colours; ie. out of synch with the content.

Again, the fourth wall got a little tickle and generally all sorts of mayhem got let loose here. I did figure out what was going on about a third of the way through, but it didn't spoil the ride too much.

The dialogue was smart and snappy, only a little grinding here and there. It was the perfect nonsense that made sense and turned the unbelievable, believable. The ending was the perfect set up for the last issue, number 3.
