GENIE update
Phew. It's chaos here. I've got a few days off as the house is being worked on. Window replacement, soffit and fascia, all sorts. Anyway, I managed to get up to 36,000 decent first draft words and the calculator says I'm on target for 90,000 on this novel. The first 33,000 chunk has gone with a friend to India, where he'll read it and report back. If I can crack 40,000 before I head back to work on Thursday, I'll be happy!
