GENIE progress
Well, the first, "half," meaning about a third-ish-sort-of-thing, now stands at 33,451 in finished, first draft book. At this rate, the 75,000 word mark is still looking like the likely overall target for the book, possibly a little more.
Ultimately, I need someone to look through it so far and pass comment, before I start on the rest of it, but no one seems content to run through a part-book-in-progress, especially as it leaves in something of a cliff hanger, and the next episode will be a couple of months in the writing. *sigh* - still, I hope to plan a clear week in Feb when I can really get stuck in to it and make some solid progress.
