Prat or Pratt?

I feel like a right prat that it might be spelt pratt. However, my on-line dictionary won't recognise either, my "Pocket Oxford" of the 1960's hasn't got either listed.

Oxford English had it listed as "prat" mid 16th century to mean a person's buttocks but later used in the 1960's to mean an idiot.

Merriam Webster has it as pratt but no definition. It then goes on to list prat as, "a stupid or foolish person" - so I guess Merriam Webster is a bit of a "prat" for listing, "pratt."
