Reading progress update: I've read 45 out of 279 pages.
Ever tried reading a pogo stick? That's what this feels like. I'm jumping around between so many characters and locations by page 45 that I've got a headache.
I was just about to DNR it when some British spooks turned up at page 40 and scared the shit out of one of the main characters, possibly THE main character ... but I'm darting all over the place that I'm starting not to care.
