Michelle Knight. Writer, photographer, programmer, truck driver and general, all round nut case. Life is a journey and that's what this blog will probably end up being. Let's see where we go, eh? ;-)
The little squirrel Rybie2 decided to respond...
I don't have a problem with you, as you accuse me of having. Find yourself a fight with someone else. I, and anyone else who interacted with you, tried to politely tell you why this community isn't engaging in your pleas to talk about yourself. However, I'm done. regards, rybie2
...and then the chicken shit blocked me so I couldn't post back on their wall ... so I posted a response on mine...
RYBIE2 - As you've blocked comments, this is for you...
I start my parade, and then you rain on it. Not content with this, you then come over to my own wall and rain on that as well; and then you expect me to believe that you don't have a problem with me?
The internet isn't immediate. Sometimes you have to let things grow and happen. I wasn't expecting anyone to engage me for some time to come, as I'm not exactly a famous author with loads of people to swoon at my every word.
But no, you have to cause trouble and ensure you have the last word in any conversation by blocking me. Well, that just shows how you really are, I guess.
If you don't have a problem with me, then leave me alone to do my own thing, in my own place, and kindly don't trouble me again.
...and then I blocked Rybie2 in return.
Looking through their comments, it seems that they've appointed themselves among the police on LibraryThing. Now, full credit to the moderators, they sat back and let this play out. They didn't seem to want to jump in too soon, which is a good thing. Sometimes, altercations like this can lead to people agreeing to disagree, shake hands and walk away ... so coming heavy handed from the get go can be a negative thing.
But, this is how things go. There's a set of lyrics to, "Respect Yourself," which go something like, "If you don't give a heck about the man with the bible in his hand, then get out the way and let the gentleman do his thing." ... but I have to admit, hand on heart, I occasionally forget that sage advice myself. Heck, I'm only human and I see red sometimes.
But it looks like its over, and for now I still seem to have an intact account! *phew*
