I actually passed my typing exam on an electronic typewriter, but at least we had an automated correction system.
The whole class passed their exam, except one person who kept his finger on the auto correct. When he took his finger off the button, the typewriter had buffered loads of correction commands and just kept on correcting ... slowly wiping out his exam piece.
I think we all wanted to say, "Pull the plug!" but it was an exam situation, so we had to remain silent, listening to the dut-derrrrr ... as it methodically wiped out his exam piece.
